Substrates

We offer the industry's most comprehensive substrate portfolio, from cost-efficient particleboard to high-strength OSB and premium hardwood plywood. We also produce custom substrate solutions on request.

Particle Board (PB)

+ Most affordable. Light weight. Good for high-volume production.

Weakest screw-holding. Swells with moisture.

Budget wardrobes, flat-pack furniture, shelving.

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF)

+ Smooth surface takes any finish. Routers cleanly. Good screw-holding.

Heavier than PB. Edges swell if exposed to moisture.

Cabinet doors, decorative panels, painted furniture.

High Density Fiberboard (HDF)

+ Hardest surface. Best wear & scratch resistance. Denser laminate bond.

Heavier. Harder to machine. Higher cost.

Laminate flooring, door skins, high-contact surfaces.

Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

+ Superior load-bearing. High moisture resistance. Very strong structure.

Rough surface requires lamination. Heavier. Higher cost.

Structural furniture, cabinets, demanding environments.

Plywood

+ Excellent dimensional stability. Great screw-holding in all directions. Durable.

More expensive. Cut edges need finishing. Can splinter.

Premium furniture, kitchen cabinets, wall paneling.

Finger-Jointed Board

+ Solid wood character. Dimensionally stable. Cost-effective vs. solid wood.

Visible joints under stain. Not for heavy structural loads.

Painted trim, door frames, mouldings, visible-edge paneling.
